I appreciate them trying something new, but the all-gray colorway just feels a bit bland to me. I miss the pops of color from the original Chronomaster Sport dials. It had more personality.

Zenith really knocked it out of the park with the titanium case and monochromatic dial. It feels fresh and sophisticated at the same time. However, that price tag is a real heartbreaker. Almost $14,000 for a watch? I get it’s a luxury brand, but oof.

No… it’s not just a lifestyle issue. A grade 2 titanuim watch will accumulate more scratches over the years than a grade 5 one.. period.

SO… why not I just find out the exact weight of the titanium version from their website while I’m at it?

For my active lifestyle, the superior scratch resistance of grade 5 titanium is appealing. However, both materials have their merits, and the choice ultimately depends on individual’s lifestyle.

It’s $13k timepiece we’re talking about. So yes I’m a little cautious, and rightfully so! While modern titanium can be quite scratch-resistant, it’s not invincible. Ceramic might offer peace of mind, but there’s also weight and fragility to consider.
