In reply to Steversal. I wouldn't call a Minotaur an animal, but I would call King Kong an animal, an over-grown ape and fictional at that, but still an animal. Same way a dragon, mythical it may be, is still an over-grown lizard.

It’s interesting how the Year of the Dragon is always the one getting all the fancy watch releases. Don’t get me wrong, the Longines piece looks cool, but where’s the love for the other 11 animals? What about us Snake or Rooster enthusiasts?

In reply to JoshHugh. Maybe it's a marketing strategy? Creating a sense of exclusivity can drive up demand, especially for collectors. And 888 is such a lucky number in many Asian cultures, it's almost like a built-in marketing message.

In reply to iFenceKnight. Agree totally! I picked up the Master Moonphase last year and I'm completely floored by the quality. The finishing is exquisite, the moonphase complication is mesmerizing, and the accuracy is spot-on. Longines is definitely giving established brands a run for their money.
