Sometimes we forget that these days, where we all have a phone within arms reach 24/7, EVERY watch is basically just a fashion accessory.

Wear what you like, and forget about what people say or think.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like fashion watches either. However, the premium is for the brand name (popular with the general public) and the latest trendy design. It’s not like all our money on true “luxury” watches was spent on the craftsmanship or movement either. You’re paying for the brand name there as well.

Yeah, but these are known as “fashion watches” and, with a few notable exceptions, you’re generally going to get a poor quality to price ratio from them.

Chanel is a legitimate Swiss watchmaker.

Same can be true for any other watch really. There’s always something “better” to be had for lesser amount of money.

Here you are crying about $3500 for a well made watch, meanwhile Chanel (another luxury fashion brand) made a $40k watch and no one is raising an eyebrow. Double standards!
