My biggest disappointment from them is failing to refresh their Elite dress watches.

Zenith, I think their releases were too quirky to make the best of list, but definitely worth a notable mention..

The Defy Revivals – once you learn how to look at them, they are very fine watches.

Agree and mostly agree about Zenith. Zenith had some interesting releases. The Defy Revival diver is a cool watch. The extreme diver they offered, for what it is, it’s unique and well thought out. The Skyline chronograph, while I doubt the world needs another integrated sports watch release, it was missing from the line, also well executed. I do t gravitate towards white dials, the white disk version looks particularly good.

Had they released the Triple Calendar El Primero now rather than a couple months ago, it would have made a bigger splash.

A lot of precious metal, a new dress watch variant, Daytona’s with luxury materials, discontinuation of the Yachtmaster II. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a perpetual calendar in the near future, or other high horology models.

The mono poussoir in steel would have been a fabulous hit ! Also it’s good to see that Rolex isn’t hoarding all the attention due to their less than exciting releases.

I had the chance to try on a Skyline Chrono and learn its history, and I’m completely smitten! It sits perfectly on a larger wrist like mine, and let’s just say, I’m already planning on getting one. With Zenith’s 160th anniversary and the Baume & Mercier 270th coming up next year, it looks like my watch collecting journey is about to get even more exciting!
