In reply to Josh Faith. Nah, it wasn't merely "purchased", they actually revived the brand. I think reviving from passion, a dormant brand to continue its legacy is a much better alternative than merely purchasing it. It’s a natural, more organic transition providing the traditional values and designs are upheld - as Czapek have done.

In reply to MrGodzilla. They're not the same Czapek of the 17th centuary though, the brand name was purchased in 2011, so in essence, the original brand spirit is lost somewhere over the centuries.

In reply to Isaac Mello. Mechanical watches are vastly inferior to every other timekeeping technology we currently use. The same goes for any other complication a mechanical watch offers. Point is, we use mechanical watches and by extension, the complications and these scales for the appreciation of it, rather than for the utility of it.

I'd like if the strap matched the dial texture like in the Antarctique model before. They'd have to make it rubber instead of leather but I'm perfectly down with that.
