Not all that long I reckon, considering that the engraving is likely on relatively soft metals like sterling silver and gold. While it looks stunning now, it might not age as gracefully as a watch with a more durable case material.

Poor logic, a bar of gold is also not haute horology, it’s not even a watch, but its priced right according to gold rates. Likewise, these watches are priced accordingly considering the craftsmanship involved and the materials used.

The caseback is solid, held on with six screws, and just as adorned as the front!
