In reply to Jessie Kirk. Considering the SBGW231 on leather is priced at €4,600, the €5,800 price tag of the SBGW305 is a significant jump of €1,200, or a 26% increase. While the beads-of-rice bracelet is indeed high-quality and adds to the watch's overall appeal, this substantial price difference is something that can give me pause when pulling the trigger on this.

While this piece definitely has its charm, I’m actually about to pull the trigger on the SBGX319 from the elegance line.

I’m sure it’ll be just as dazzling, if not more so.

Even though I’m basically a walking Japan encyclopedia (lived there, got the Master’s degree and everything!), I gotta say, Grand Seikos just don’t do it for me. They’re cool and all, but kinda…meh. I’d love to own one someday when I’m a millionaire watch connoisseur, but for now, they just feel a bit overpriced.

What a beautiful GS! If memory serves, the SBGW241 also featured the same bracelet, though it was a limited edition model.
