Haha, I totally get it! Those dragons are so mesmerizing, it’s easy to forget there’s actually a functional watch hiding underneath all that artistry. I spent a good five minutes marveling at the moonlit garden before realizing I could track the actual time with the rose gold dragon’s tail!

However, I can’t help but feel the Luna Magna dragon looks more like a house lizard than the majestic creature I expected. Perhaps it’s the angle or the way the dragon is looking back at the moon, but it seems to lack the fierce grandeur I was anticipating. Still, the overall design is intriguing, and the craftsmanship is undeniably top-notch!

Worth every penny for true connoisseurs, I say! These are art pieces on your wrist, a fusion of horological mastery and cultural symbolism. You just can’t replicate that with mass-produced brands.

This year’s YOTD watches are definitely top-notch. Still thinking about that Chopard L.U.C XP Urushi from 2012 though… that lacquer dragon was next-level!!

Is it pure aesthetics or does it actually track the real lunar cycle in some way? And why are each of these watches are limited to 8 pieces?
