The design is important, but for me, it’s all about the engineering. The dual-barrel system in the Duomètre line is what truly sets them apart. Separating timekeeping from complications is genius!

True, Patek might have a historical edge, but JLC’s reputation for technical prowess is unmatched. Plus, 20 pieces is incredibly limited. The investment potential could be there, especially for early adopters.

I see your point, but there’s a certain charm to the jumping seconds on the Quantieme Lunaire. It’s a historical complication and a reminder of watchmaking’s heritage. Besides, for most everyday uses, 1/6th or 1/10th of a second won’t make a huge difference.

Yeah, Reverso is a classic for a reason. While I appreciate the technical marvel of the Duomètre line, I wouldn’t want to worry about damaging such a precious piece.
